Run To The End is a fun 5k run/walk to support efforts to end slavery and restore hope in Bangladesh. And we are inviting YOU to a fun-filled day on Saturday, June 9th at 10am at Black Creek Park in Chili, NY. What's included:
Race (or walk) the official Churchville Chili High School 5k course.
After the race, enjoy Italian sausages, hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, and gatorades for the whole family in the Pathfinder Pavilion at Black Creek Park.
Shirt included with cost of registration if purchased by Sunday, May 30, 2020.
Free childcare for all participants and volunteers on a playground.
Free children's fun run around the lake at 11am.
In the last 6 years, Run To The End participants and sponsors have raised over $80,000 to help end human trafficking. 100% of our proceeds go to help fund girls who would otherwise be at high risk of being trafficked in Bangladesh. We take no overhead for this event! Ahki's Place, where the girls are rescued to, is holistic - providing clothes, food, shelter, and education for girls rescued. We've been sponsoring these girls in full for 5 years and they are now all around 12 years old. This year, Run To The End aims to surpass last year's financial goal so that Ahki's Place can expand and reach even more girls in danger. The vision is to bring in a whole new cohort of young girls and help raise them in a safe and vibrant environment.
Your participation in Run To The End 2020 will help this ground-breaking work to continue and take steps towards making our world a safe, more hopeful one for the young girls in Bangladesh.
What if I'm not a runner?
You can still participate in several ways. Many of our participants walk, so we'd love to have you join us in this way. You can also volunteer. We have 25 different ways to help out! Also, you can donate to the cause to directly help.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No age limit required and no ID requirements for the fun run/walk!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking spaces are limited, so we encourage you to carpool as you are able, but there are enough spaces for everyone. We will have a parking team to help you park, too.
Where do I go when I get to Black Creek Park?
After you enter into Black Creek Park off of S. Union St., turn to the left at the "T". Follow the road around the curves to the end. We are using the Pathfinder Pavilion, which is the last pavilion. You'll see us!
When should I arrive?
Participants should arrive between 8:30am and 9:15am.
Is there a discount for kids?
Yes! Use promo code STUDENTSROCK for $5 off the price.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Alexi Abarca is the event organizer and you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are there refunds?
Yes, but only through May 30th. After that, your registration will be donated to the cause whether you attend or not.
Where's my ticket?
There are no tickets to the event. Once you register, your name will be included on our list of walkers/runners. On race day, be sure to arrive early (between 8:30am and 9:15am) so we can get you signed-in at the registration table.
The name on the registration doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes - just let Alexi know! email@example.com.
