Young Adult Women's Bible Study
June 2nd - August 11th, 2018
Saturdays | June 2nd - August 11th | 7:30-9pm | The Sigmon's house
This summer, join Sarah Sigmon as she leads an in-depth study on the first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis.
This study is open to young adult women ages 18-29.
The cost is $15 and includes a study book to use and keep.
About the Study
God of Creation: A Study of Genesis 1-11, by Jen Wilkin
The opening lines and chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil—all through the power of His Word.
Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, dive into the first 11 chapters of Genesis by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Teaching videos are key in understanding this study. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

In the last 4 years, Run To The End participants and sponsors have raised over $50,000 to help end human trafficking. 100% of our proceeds go to help fund girls who would otherwise be at high risk of being trafficked in Bangladesh. We take no overhead for this event! Ahki's Place, where the girls are rescued to, is holistic - providing clothes, food, shelter, and education for girls rescued. We've been sponsoring these girls in full for 4 years and they are now all around 11 years old. This year, Run To The End aims to surpass last year's financial goal so that Ahki's Place can expand and reach even more girls in danger. The vision is to bring in a whole new cohort of young girls and help raise them in a safe and vibrant environment.
Your participation in Run To The End 2018 will help this ground-breaking work to continue and take steps towards making our world a safe, more hopeful one for the young girls in Bangladesh.
What if I'm not a runner?
You can still participate in several ways. Many of our participants walk, so we'd love to have you join us in this way. You can also volunteer. We have 25 different ways to help out! Also, you can donate to the cause to directly help.

We are excited that you are interested in baptism. We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior. If you have made a decision to follow Jesus as your Savior, then water baptism is the next step in your journey. We consider it a privilege to walk with you as you take this next step on your spiritual journey!
Each person taking this step is asked to record a video that will be shown before your baptism. We'll walk you through this step-by-step and guide you through this process so that on that day, as you step into the baptism waters, your story will be shared with our church family and friends.
Pastor Bob will lead a brief meeting that will help answer any questions that you may have about water baptism.
